Margaret Louise Cullen (nee Braun) of Airmont, NY and previously of Highbridge Bronx, NY entered into eternal life on November 14, 2015 with her family by her side. The daughter of the late Alfred Braun and Margaret Phelan-Braun. She was a resident of Rockland county since 1963 and a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Spring Valley for 40 years where she taught CCD and was an Eucharistic Minister. She worked for Verizon as a Division Manager for over 30 years at 1095 Avenue of the Americas where she was well respected and won many outstanding awards.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Robert T. Cullen, her two daughters Judy-Ann Cullen and Margaret Cullen-Reardon, her son-in-law Edward Reardon and her two grandsons Robert Thomas and Pierce.
A wake will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00pm and a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern, NY. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Airmont, NY.
