Margaret (Margaretha) Catharina Kloth was born October 5, 1924 in Heerlen, Holland to Catharina and Danker De Ridder. Active from the start, she played field hockey and was on the swim team. With her caring heart she joined the Red Cross during WWII. Courageously, as a young women she came to America on her own, where she met and married Fred "Stewart" Kloth. Together they built a house and made it their home with daughter Sondee. She lived out her life in that same home. Margaret generously gave to charities and had a heart for helping animals and people in need. A wonderful grandmother and great grandmother, her beautiful heart will always be remembered.
A brief visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 9:00am. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Boniface Church, Wesley Hills, NY at 10:30am with the interment to follow at Fred W. Loescher Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
