Her dedication and devotion for nursing positively influenced many in the nursing field.

Family and friends were Marilyn’s passion and delight. Marilyn’s granddaughters were the light of her life and brought such joy to her. She was a dedicated and proud grandmother, traveling long distances to see her granddaughters play in sports or come to a school function. There was no other place she would rather be. Marilyn enjoyed traveling tremendously with friends on cruises and always had a great tan as a result. She enjoyed going away with her family to the Jersey Shore. Marilyn loved her community pool and became a member of the Pool Board. She was very social and enjoyed playing Mahjong, Canasta and going to plays in the city with her friends. Dearest Marilyn,

It's been awhile since I have seen you, and I have missed you. Our get-togethers, yes, work saturated, but , always with good room for friendship and laughter.

You were One of a Kind. Your Light will always Shine with every success of the VNA of Hudson Valley.

The many, many lives of Patients, Clinicians, Administrators, and Home Care Staffs that you have touched is amazing! So, so many of us are in your debt.

GOD Bless You, Ms. Fishman!
