Born February 12, 1924 in Bel-Air, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Neleon Sugne and Verona Bien-aime.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Raymond Laguerre and Marlene Mondesir; her grandchildren, Fabrice Laguerre, Danielle Demorin, Patrice Laguerre; and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien Mondesir; her children, Lucien and Miracula Mondesir; her siblings, Gesnir and Yapoune Sugne; and grandchild, Majorie Mondesir.
The visitation service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Rt. 59, Suffern, NY 10901.
The home going service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 9am at First Timothy Christian Church, 198 N. Main St., Spring Valley, NY 10977. Interment to follow at Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Rd. Spring Valley, NY 10977.
