

Marykutty Jacob was born on May 12, 1937 to the late Pastor N.G. Philip and Mariamma Philip in Vallikunnam, Kerala, India. She was raised in a God fearing Pentecostal home, and at an early age she came to know the Lord Jesus Christ and took water baptism.
Marykutty married John Kunnel Jacob, Nilambur Kerala on November 7, 1963. They have had an exemplary family life for nearly fifty years. God blessed them with a fruitful family. She raised her children and grandchildren in a God fearing and spiritual manner.
Marykutty Jacob was a God fearing woman who faced life with a prayerful attitude, trusting in the Lord with all her heart despite adverse circumstances. She fervently loved serving the Lord, her family, and others. Her favorite pastime was singing Gospel hymns and songs which energized her faith and it was a blessing to hear songs even through all her hardship.
Marykutty along with her family came to the United States in 1983 through the assistance of her brother Reverend K.P. Titus and family. She was a member of the Bronx Full Gospel Assembly for nearly 30 years. Marykutty upheld the values of Pentecostal teachings and regarded the Word of God with reverence. She enjoyed the fellowship with all church members and participated in the services.
On November 25, 2012 Marykutty Jacob was received to glory. She is survived by her husband; John Jacob, children; Jessy Pious, Susan Binu and James Jacob and son-in-laws; Pious Joseph and Binu Baby and daughter-in-law; Sneha Jacob. She was greatly blessed to have 7 grandchildren; Alex Pious, Able Pious, Ashbel Pious, Justin Binu, Jensen Binu, Jaiden Binu, and 4 sisters; Thankamma Joseph, Saramma Philip, Rebeccamma George, and Lillykutty Matthew and their respective families.
