Maureen Conklin

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Maureen (Parsells)Conklin, who was born on December 19, 1947 and peacefully passed away on her birthday, December 19, 2025, completing a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to family. In her final days, she was surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Eileen Parsells, her brothers, Thomas and Brian Parsells and her cherished grandson, Michael Conklin, whom she held forever in her heart.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Conklin whom she married in 1966 and shared a lifetime of love and partnership with. Her daughter, Kristen Sullivan (Keith), her son James Conklin Jr. (Heidy),five treasured grandchildren; James Conklin, Danielle Conklin (Dillon), Taylor Sullivan ( Jake), Kyle Sullivan, and Kasey Sullivan (Sam) and her great-grandson, Michael Conklin Jr., who brought her immense joy.

A lifelong resident of her hometown, Suffern, NY, she and James raised their children there, building deep roots in the community she loved so much. She was a proud local business owner of Speed O’ Prints. She is known for her strong work ethic, friendly spirit, sense of humor and the relationships she built through her years of service to the town.

Family was at the center of her world. She found joy in shopping, playing card games, and board games, especially when surrounded by loved ones. She cherished her time spent in Naples, Florida, even more so when family came to visit. She was endlessly proud of her adoring childrens and precious grandchildrens accomplishments and never missed a chance to celebrate their milestones.

Her love language was gift-giving: thoughtful, generous, and always from the heart. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a natural ability to make people laugh, leaving smiles wherever she went.

Her legacy of love, laughter, generosity, and family devotion will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, located at 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901, on December 21, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the same venue on December 22, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.with burial to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Ave. Mahwah, NJ 07430
