

It is with deep love and sorrow that the family of Michael Andrew Penik announces his passing. Born on November 4, 1932, in Yonkers, New York, to Michael and Julia (Pavick) Penik, he lived a life defined by integrity, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family.
A man of great character, Michael built his life around love and loyalty. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Naia, whose companionship and partnership were the heart of his world. Together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and enduring family ties.
He was the proud father of Michael, Kim, and Lynn, whose lives were forever shaped by his steady guidance and unconditional love. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Ashley and Mikey, and his adored great-grandchildren, Naia, Daisy, and June, who brought him endless joy and pride.
Michael was predeceased by his brothers, George and William Penik, with whom he shared many fond memories growing up in Yonkers.
A man dedicated to his work and respected by all who knew him, Michael Penik served as Director of Quality Control at Ciba-Geigy for 35 years. His commitment, professionalism, and sense of responsibility earned him admiration throughout his long and distinguished career.
Outside of work, he found great happiness on the golf course and could always be found cheering passionately for his New York Giants. But above all, his greatest joy came from being surrounded by his family—sharing meals, stories, laughter, and the everyday moments that meant everything to him.
Michael will be remembered for his gentle strength, his generosity of spirit, and the deep love he gave so freely to those fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of integrity and kindness will live on in his family and all whose lives he touched.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern , NY. Burial will follow at Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery in New Hempstead. NY.
