Lt. Col. Nicholas T. Boyko, U.S. Army Ret. Of Haskell, NJ died May 6, 2016 at age 74. Born April 18, 1942 in Bronx, NY to Theodore and Helen (Betts) Boyko. Nick retired from the U.S. Army after an honorable and prestigious career. He was active with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Civil Air Patrol of New Jersey, the Ukrainian National Association in Newark and the Nursing Home Resident Life Council. Survived by his loving children Nicholas “Nick” Boyko, Jr. and Carol Ann Schaffer (husband John) and cherished grandchildren John Nicholas Schaffer and Joshua Schaffer. Visitation Thursday 5-8pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern, NY. Funeral Mass Friday 10am at Our Lady of Consolation 1799 Hamburg Tpk. Wayne, NJ. Burial at BG William C.
