Mapes, Otis Marion of Phillipsport, NY. Born January 4, 1929 in Monsey, NY to Otis Frank and Sarah (Quackenbush) Mapes. Otis attended Calvin College in Michigan. He was an Elder of the Ellenville Reformed Church and a Life Member of the Summitville Fire Department. Otis was an avid boater and enjoyed spending time with his entire family. Survived by his beloved wife Louise Grace (nee Pitt), loving children Glen Mapes (wife Ruth), Marlene Miccolis (Fiancée Garry), Randall Mapes (wife Karen), Kevin Mapes (wife Dorothy), Louis Toth (wife Lisa), Daniel Toth, Irene Puccio (husband Antonio) and Sarah Powell (husband Shawn), cherished grandfather of 21 and great grandfather of 4, devoted siblings Caralou Matern, Nellie Slinkosky (husband Adam) and Gloria Joy Pitt (husband Sterling). Predeceased by his sister Virginia Schmidt. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern.
