Paulette Augusta Schradin

Paulette A. Schradin of Greenwood Lake, NY died January 15, 2015 at the age of 75. She was born March 7, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to Benjamin and Mary (Zeffaro) Fontana. Paulette was married for 56 years to Edward A. Schradin III on April 6, 1958.

She worked for 5 Star and Little House of Stromboli. Paulette loved going to penny socials, tricky trays and bingo. She was a big animal lover and passed that trait onto her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed doing crosswords, puzzles, and playing cards. Paulette had talents for playing the accordion and organ. She was an awesome cook!

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be great;y missed.

Paulette is survived by her beloved husband, Edward; loving children, Paulette Maidlow (husband Jeff), Anita Schradin (husband Joseph P. Codi, Jr.), Edward B. Schradin (wife Denise), and Anthony W. Schradin (wife Debbie); devoted grandchildren, Nicole, Ava, Melissa (husband Drew), Derek (wife Nicole), Emily and Joseph (wife Melanie); cherished great-grandchildren, Kade, Noah, Brandon, Cassidy, Kaitlyn and Isabelle; caring brother, Vincent Fontana (wife Carol); sisters-in-law, Carol Hoffman (husband Duke) and Angie Fontana; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her little buddy Max. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Fontana.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home in Suffern, New York.
