I remember his Mom very well. His Mom Mary and my Mom Vicki were the best of friends for years. I can still see them setting each other’s hair in my Mom’s kitchen. The whole Ackerson family and mine were very close when I was young. My heart goes out to Peter and his family and also to David and John.

The deepest condolences to Pete’s family. He was a great guy, a funny guy and above all adventurous. He is probably the only person who ever pulled off dropping a big block Chevy V8 in a Corvair! One of my fondest memories was being in his garage in Airmont and cheering him on with his dad Art and brother John when he fired it up. Rest in Peace. Joe St. Lawrence

Dearest June and family,

So very sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved husband. I remember seeing photographs when Peter was working on your house. Both of my parents spoke very highly of him. I know that he is at peace and reuniting with your parents, mine and all of the other beautiful people that touched his life. Sending my deepest condolences to you and your family, and hoping that in time you will find comfort in the beautiful memories that you shared. Lots of love,

Ellie
