Lord on April 18, 2021. Peter joined the Holy Spirit on the Third Sunday of Easter, symbolizing the recognition of God and Jesus in our daily life, what it means to be a genuine disciple of Jesus, and being a witness to our faith with consistency and courage. All attributes of which Peter encompassed and manifested.
Peter was born on December 20, 1932 in East Harlem, NY to Umberto and Antonietta DeNigris. He grew up the youngest of seven siblings, Michael✞, Lucrezia✞, Filomena✞, Josephine✞, Assunta✞, and his surviving sister, Annunziata. Peter married the love of his life, Bernice Rose✞, on October 2, 1960.
Peter was a long time employee of the former American Cyanamid (Lederle) in Pearl River, NY as Supervisor of Computer Operations. Peter worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He remained a devoted husband, father, son-in-law, and grandfather. Peter left a lasting impact on every life he touched, loving everyone in his life immeasurably and unconditionally. He was a compassionate, generous, and spiritual soul. Peter spent his time prioritizing family and faith. He was a devout parishioner and active member of Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Peter remained a devout Catholic and truly led a life of Christ; always guided by his deep-rooted and unwavering faith and values. Peter had a passion for gardening, desserts, church life, and family life. His magnificent, tenderhearted spirit immediately captured everyone who crossed his path and will continue to leave a profound impact on all those who knew him.
Peter is survived by his children and grandchildren:
Regina, her husband Michael, and their children: Meredith, Kimberly, and Carmela
Stephen, his wife Lee, and their children: Christopher, Shea, Jeffrey, Amanda, Faith, Carlee, April✞, and Caroline (great-grandchild)
Peter Jr., his wife Alexandria, and their children: Danielle, Marissa, Brandon, Samantha, and Ezekiel

Christine, her husband Kevin, and their children: Kevin Thomas, Peter, and Isabella Rose
Susan, her husband Todd, and their children: Matthew, Gabriella, Joseph, and Sophia
Peter is also survived by a large, close-knit extended family.
