Raymond J. Blauvelt passed away on Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at the age of 86. He was born August 12, 1929 and raised in Suffern, NY and graduated from Suffern Schools. Ray served in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Joan Keri. Ray and Joan raised two lovely daughters, Linda and Sharon. Ray was employed by Chromalloy as a tool and die maker. He was proud to serve as usher in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Ray is survived by his wife Joan, his daughter Sharon Davis, and his loving granddaughters, Heather Dozier and Katrina Edwards. Ray was predeceased by his daughter, Linda, who passed away at an early age.
Visitation and Memorial Services will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016. The Visitation will begin at 1PM; the Memorial Service will begin at 2PM. Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977.
