Richard Eliot Ferry

Richard E. Ferry (Rich), 61, of Monsey, NY died in Myrtle Beach, SC on March 13th. Born February 20, 1950, he was the only child of Eliot and Betty Ferry who both predeceased him. He attended Don Bosco Prep High School and Marist College. He grew up in Mahwah, NJ and lived the last 20 years in Monsey, NY with his beloved wife Rose. Richard had worked at Western Union, Ridgewood Corp., and was currently an employee of TKL Marketing. He was also a talented and accomplished carpenter. Richard is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rose Kaminski Ferry; his step-daughter Linda Sheehan-Axel and husband Brett; grandchildren Alyx Axel-Demauro and wife Regina Demauro-Axel and Sterling Axel all of Utica, NY and his in-laws Tom & Shirley Kaminski. He also leaves behind his dog Bernie and cat Medieval. Visitation Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 Suffern, NY. Funeral Service Saturday 10am at the Funeral Home followed by an interment at Mahwah Cemetery in New Jersey.
