Richard D. Granholm of Sloatsburg, NY died September 25, 2010 at age 84. Born September 28, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Harold and Elizabeth (Moylan) Granholm. Richard served honorably with the US Navy during WWII. He was a New York City Police Officer and later a Technician for Xerox. Survived by his beloved Wife, Catherine (nee McElhaney), loving children Christopher (Wife Patricia), Richard (Wife Heidi), Ken (wife Mary), John (Wife Jackie) and Susan Granholm, 24 cherished grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, caring siblings Mary Rudolf, Martha (Husband Ken) Hoffman and Eric (Wife carol) Granholm and a son-in-law Ted Wilson. Predeceased by a daughter "Kitty" Wilson and brothers Tony, Harold, Larry and Jimmy.Visitation Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern.
