Richard was born in the Bronx, N.Y. on April 2, 1938 to Eugene and Mary. He lived in Suffern for 37 years.
Richard was a dedicated parishioner of The Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ for 30 years. Rich was an accomplished fisherman and enjoyed golf. He was also a lifelong Yankee fan and enthusiastic supporter of St. John's University Men's basketball. He served his country with honor as a member of the United States National Guard. Rich was a graduate of Iona College in New Rochelle, NY and had a successful career in business working as a sales manager for Entenmann’s Bakery.
Richard is survived by his wife of over 57 years Joan; children, Kevin, James, Michelle, Susan; their spouses Maureen, Lauren, Louie and Paul; his grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, Alex, Tyler, Sophia, Cole, William, Kyra, Julia, Max and Anna; and his brothers, Bob, Michael and Tommy.
Visitation is Monday, March 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home at 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A Mass of Catholic Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am, at The Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, NJ on Tuesday, March 20th.
