Richmond E. “Ricky” Karlan of Suffern, NY died May 17, 2016 at age 61. Born December 29, 1954 in Suffern to Stanley and Mary (Morton) Karlan. Ricky was a Life Member of the Hillcrest Fire Department. Survived by his beloved wife Laura (nee Pia) Karlan, loving children Nicole Jessie (husband Robert) and Maria DeLucia (fiancé Todd May), cherished grandchildren Madison Jessie, Tyler Jessie and Jackson May and caring siblings Victoria Schumer (husband David), Christine Muniz (husband Gary) and Deborah Kahn (husband David).
Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Gathering Friday 5-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday 11am at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home. Committal Private.
