Robert was known for his larger-than-life personality and his love of people. He was truly the life of the party, someone who loved music, laughter, and bringing others together. Many remember him as “Good Time Charlie,” always ready with a story, a joke, or a reason to celebrate.
He was a deeply devoted father, always present at his children’s sporting events, cheering them on and showing up with pride, consistency, and love. He was also a dedicated grandfather who attended all of his grandchildren’s events, always showing up with
encouragement and pride. His family was at the center of his world. When he and his wife, Denise, were dating, they bowled together, building the foundation of a relationship filled with fun, companionship, and shared memories.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially weekend fishing trips with his family, golfing with friends, hunting in his younger years, and watching sports. He especially loved
cheering for the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys.
Even in retirement, Robert continued working as a bus driver for young children, reflecting his strong work ethic and care for others. He also loved traveling, enjoying yearly trips to many
different islands, embracing adventure, relaxation, and new experiences.
Above all, Robert will be remembered for his humor, his energy, his love of life, and the meaningful moments he created with those closest to him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Denise; his daughter, Cheryl; his son, Craig, and his wife,
Amy; their children, Abigail and Katherine; and his brother, Stephen. He was the cherished son of Gina and Dino, and is survived by extended family and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.
Closing Prayer: When we feel the weight of grief, may we remember that we are carried, guided by faith, love, and the promise of peace. May Robert rest in God’s presence, surrounded by light, and may those who loved him feel comfort in the days ahead. Amen.
