Suffern - Roberta Ann Straut (née Balfour), of Suffern, NY passed away at the age of 76 on Wednesday, November 13th. Roberta was born in Suffern, on March 6, 1943 to the late Robert & Anna (Marsh) Balfour. Roberta married Donald Straut on December 2, 1961, and would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary later this year.
Roberta is survived by her loving husband Don, sons Donnie, Ken (Jackie), Jim (Marybeth), nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18th, from 10am to 12pm, with a funeral service after at the Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern. A burial will follow at Airmont Cemetery in Airmont, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
