Mr. Roges Samson Dufresne of Spring Valley, NY, formerly of Marchand Dessalines, Haiti, passed away on June 17, 2012. Roges was born on April 13, 1926 in Terre-Neuve, Haiti. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1968 as a mason and construction worker. He subsequently was employed at Friedwald House in Spring Valley, NY for more than 25 years until his retirement. He was an active member of the Freemason society. Roges was married to Anne Bertha Dufrene who predeceased him on May 8, 2006. He is survived by many children, grandchildren and great grand children. He will be greatly missed by his large family, friends, and associates.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29th, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home; 177 Route 59; Suffern, NY. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Joseph Church in Spring Valley, NY on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interment follows at the Brick Church Cemetery also in Spring Valley, NY.
