The funeral service will be held on Monday February 11, 2013 at 10am at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, located at 245 N. Main Street Spring Valley NY, will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Brick Church Cemetery at 11am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home.

Viewing will be held from 5pm to 9pm on Sunday February 10, 2013 at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home located at 177 Route 59 Suffern, NY 10901.

Rose Guertie Julien was born in Gros-Morne Haiti on November 23, 1968. Rose was more familiarly known to her close friends and family as Rachelle or Nanoune. Rachelle graduated from College Immaculate de Marie in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and then moved to the United States in 1988 when she was 20 years old.

Rachelle was married to Peter Cham; they were married for over 10 years.

Rachelle was studying to be a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends.

Nanoune is survived by her husband, Peter Cham; her brother, Djimy Pierre; her sisters Judy Marc, Guerdia Marc, Fedeline Julien, Wilene Julien, Darlene Julien, Beaudeline Julien, Costa Julien and Emmanuela Julien; her children Tracey Pierre, age 14 and Brent Cham, age 9; her father Herilio Julien; her step-mother Marie Julien; her nieces Jamie Pierre and Isabella Pierre; her nephew Connor Pierre; her aunts Marie-Monette Cherubin, Jeanina Jean-Louis, Chantalle Simeon, Ketly Louissaint, Natalie Fleucelus Ketly Mertis and Rose-Andre Pierre; and her uncles: Miranel Pierre, Jean-Renaud Joseph, Mariano Exantus, Jacquy Pierre, Henri Joseph and Fritz-Pierre Joseph.

Nanoune is preceded in death by her Grand-Father, Pelamy Pierre, her Mother Marie-Rolande Pierre; her Grand-Mother Claire Tanya Pierre; her Aunt Yvrose Pierre and her sister Guirlaine Julien.
