Born December 22, 1953, to Ruth (Lockyer) and John Kallenbach, Timothy was born at Good Samaritan Hospital and resided in the area almost his entire life.
Tim graduated Suffern High School and attended Rockland Community College. He spent his entire career and retired from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Pearl River, New York.
A gentle, kind-hearted soul with an infectious laugh, Tim was adored by his family and friends. He was always ready to provide a big hug, comfort food, and a silly joke. His goofy sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him.
When he wasn’t tending to his cherished vegetable garden, Tim played a mean game of basketball. He loved most sports, his favorite team being the New York Rangers.
He grew up attending Christ Lutheran Church in Airmont and also attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pearl River for many years.
Tim loved to share his love of God and of life through song, and had a beautiful singing voice that could be heard resounding from the pews on Sunday. With a talent for written word, Tim could capture all of life’s trials, joys and mysteries with poignancy and beauty.
Deeply loving nature, good food, and his family, Tim moved through this life with curiosity and reverence. His greatest joy, his daughter, Ariel.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Ariel Kallenbach, his sister Bonnie Fuchs (William), his niece Traci Henneman (Mike), and his nephew Christopher Fuchs (Sarah). He is also survived by four grand nieces and nephews, Matthew Fuchs, Katelyn Henneman, Isabella and River Fuchs. Tim is also survived by his former wife and dear friend, Elaine Kallenbach, and many other treasured family and loved ones.
Our love for him will endure forever.
There will be no visitation at this time with anticipation of a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home - Suffern, NY.
