It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Louise Bellizia (Finochiaro), who was born on February 20, 1974, at St. Luke’s Hospital to Joan Ascolese. Tina was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Tina was one of four siblings and devoted her life to the people she loved most. Family was always at the center of her world. She loved each member of her family deeply, but nothing brought her more joy than her two beloved daughters, Gianna and Sophia, and her mother, Joan, whom she lovingly cared for later in life. Tina had an extraordinary love for animals and opened her heart to many cherished pets throughout her life, especially her beloved Albert, Jilly, and Kitty, who brought her endless comfort and happiness. For many years, Tina worked as a dedicated office administrator in the automotive industry. Her warmth, compassion, and caring nature made every workplace feel welcoming and special. She was known by all as a kind and gentle soul who always put others before herself. Tina’s giving spirit could be seen in the countless ways she cared for those around her, whether through her comforting words, thoughtful actions, or the meals and baked goods she lovingly prepared for family and friends. Her passion for cooking and baking was evident in the recipes she scribbled everywhere, on sticky notes, bills, greeting cards, and anything else she could find. Tina also showed extraordinary courage and strength in her battle against an aggressive cancer that would ultimately claim her life. She fought bravely and fiercely, never flinching and never hesitating through every treatment and every challenge she faced. Tina endured it all with determination and hope because all she wanted was to beat the cancer and continue living for her girls. They were her entire world, and everything she did was for them. Tina is survived by her loving husband, Richard Bellizia; her cherished daughters, Gianna Bellizia and Sophia Bellizia; her mother, Joan Ascolese; her brother Anthony Barbato and his wife Darlene; her brother Dominick Finochiaro and his wife Katherine; along with many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory. Tina will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched. Her sweet nature, selflessness, and unconditional love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Visitation services will be held at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service on Monday 5/11 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a viewing Wednesday 5/13 from 9:00AM to 10:30AM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church at 11:00 AM. Tina will be laid to rest at Ascension Cemetery following the Mass.
