Charlotte was born March 5, 1922 in Colliers WV the second oldest of four daughters to William and Isabel Borders.
She was a retired Accounts Payable Supervisor with the NYC MTA and lived in her beloved Brooklyn Heights, NY for 49 years. She loved to travel having visited many destinations throughout the country and across several continents with St. Maarten N.A. being truly one of her favorite destinations.
Up until May 2016 she would walk to her gym in the old St George Hotel and walk on the treadmill three to five miles a day every chance she got. She will most be remembered for being the epitome of grace and giving without condition. Her spirit and soul were unparalleled and she will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.
Charlotte is survived by her son Louis Lippman III; her grandson Kyle Lippman, his wife Patti, and her beloved great-granddaughter Hannah; her grandson Gavin Lippman, her granddaughter Karen Cooper, her husband Trini, and her great-grandson Marco; her two sisters: Thelma Lyons and her husband Irving and June Steele-Wells; and her nieces: Sharrin Edwards and Joanne Steele.
She was predeceased by her parents, her son Richard Lippman, her sister Neportia Borders, her loving partner Harry Rimberg, and her ex-husband Louis Lippman II.
Family will be receiving friends and relatives on Friday August 5th 2016 from 4 – 8 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home in Suffern, NY. A graveside service will be held on Saturday August 6th 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetary in Bronx, NY.
