Araneo, Vincent of Spring Valley, NY. Died July 28, 2011 at age 81. Born October 16, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY to Giovanni de Baptiste and Helen (Ladianna) Araneo.Vincent was employed by US Customs and retired as the Assistant Area Director of Port Newark. He served 30 years in the US Army Reserves enlisting as a Private and retiring as a Full Colonel in the Medical Service Corps. Survived by his beloved wife Anna (nee DeMayo), loving children Marianne Krell (husband Henry), John Araneo (wife Isa), Jean Kellum (husband Ben) and Vincent Araneo, Jr. (wife Debbie), 13 devoted grandchildren Henry, Michael, Annemarie, Thomas, Christine, Vincent, Christopher, Elena, Alyssa, Matthew, Faith, Katie and Maggie, two cherished great grandchildren Sofia and Timothy and a caring brother Mario Araneo. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Mass Monday 10am at Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ followed by an Interment at Ascension Cemetery in Airmont, NY.
