

Vincent Rosario Gerbino, of Suffern, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the age of 93. Vincent was born to Vito and Tommasa (Garafolo) Gerbino on January 11, 1928 at 15 Rivington Street, New York City’s Lower East Side. He proudly served in the United States ARMY WWII Post War Occupation Forces – Japan. Vincent was married to the love of his life Frances Liberato on February 4, 1951. Together they owned & operated The Tire Place of Queens, in Middle Village, Queens for over 40 years. He was committed to his family and loved his food, and all genres of music, especially The Big Bands.
Vincent is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years Frances Gerbino, cherished children Thomasina Uzzi (Ralph), Vito Gerbino (Natalie), and Vincenza Cimino (Eugene), adored grandchildren Frank (Christina), Carmela (Tony), Frances (Costantino), Vincent (Erica), Francesca (Rob), Maria (Andy), Louis (Alyssa), Vito Jr., Lucia (Salvatore), Francesco (Jacklyn), and great grandchildren Thomas, Matteo, Michael, and Leo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, NJ. Entombment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, NY.
