I was saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. William S. GOULD, III during Magnetic Analysis Corporation's annual ISO assessment. I have had the distinct honour of having been the company's auditor for the past three years. One of the highlights of each annual assessment had been the opportunity to meet with Mr. GOULD, whom I regarded as an outstanding mentor and example of what a corporate executive should be.  Although we were only able to meet briefly on each visit, I considered him to be an inspiring presence who reflected the good qualities that define leadership. He will be missed, but left his company in very capable hands. Thank you, Mr. GOULD. May your memory be eternal. -- KWG

My deepest condolences go out to you Jean  and the entire Gould family.  

I cherish the many memories that I have of Bill, his wit and most especially his love concern for MAC and it's employees. I recall the many times while on installations in foreign accounts, having had problems that at times  seemed overwhelming. Bill had a calm and fatherly approach to help me to remain calm and discover the  solutions to the many challenges and learn by them at the same time. I also fondly recall the many meetings and planning sessions that we had together in Mt. Vernon and later in Elmsford and how you and Bill graciously welcomed us into your home many times over the years.

I am deeply saddened that I was unable to attend the wake and pay my respects personally as I had planned to do. I mistook the date of the memorial service for March 21 and had made plans to attend. I found out from Virginia that I was mistaken and that the service was scheduled for March 28th , which make sense as it takes time to arrange travel plans. I am deeply sorry that I was unable to reschedule  prior arranged work commitments.

I continue to look forward to receiving my copy of the MAC notes and reading of MAC's latest accomplishments as well as the latest events in the lives of MAC's employees.  It helps me to feel connected to the family. I am so happy to see that MAC continues to prosper and bloom due to the passion, care  and love that you and Bill have poured into MAC over the many years and through the many talented employees that you have brought into the fold to keep MAC a leader in NDT innovation for years to come.

                 My heartfelt condolences to you, Jean and the rest of your family.
Having worked closely on our product development plans for some twenty odd years, I had a very special relationship with and much admiration for Bill.  As such, our mutual discussions oftentimes gave me some of the greatest personal father-like experiences of my life.  Bill always showed me the courtesy of graciously listening  to my many project concerns and presented such optimism about them,  I usually left his office floating high on cloud nine. He was such a real gentleman, much loved, and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.


Condolences to the family of Bill Gould, it was my great honor to know Bill.  He was always there if I needed anything and I will miss his contagious laugh, kindness, and his generosity with his time whenever we spoke.    I have nothing but fond memories of Bill and will keep him and his family in my thoughts and prayers.

I would like to send my condolences to the Bill Gould family. I am Roger Lamps' daughter.....Roger retired from MAC. (Canton, Ohio was his residence.) He has since passed. (2012) He loved his job, & more importantly, Bill. He had nothing but praise for Bill & the company. Please know that you are all in my thoughts & prayers.
