Willson, William Sterling, Jr. of Yonkers and formerly of Rockland died February 1, 2012 at the age of 79. Born October 4, 1932 in Haverstraw, NY to William and Ruth (Trotter) Willson. The Willson Family owned and operated the Brookside Farms Dairy in Haverstraw, NY. William graduated from R.I.T in 1952. He was an accomplished Photographer and worked with Columbia University Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory aboard the vessel R.V. Vema as a deep sea underwater photographer for oceanographic research. He is a proud member of the Alliance of Guardian Angels of New York City. He is survived by his loving children Catherine Bogert (husband Robert W. Bogert Jr.) and Christopher W. Willson Sr. (wife Sebnem Selenka) and 12 cherished grandchildren. William and Samantha MacKenzie, Robert Bogert III, and Christopher Jr (Yadira Andres-Fiance), Christian, Michael, Anthony, Brandon, Kyle, Bryson, Carson, and Jayden Willson. Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen and loving daughter Pamela Jayne MacKenzie. Funeral services were private.
