Yvonne graduated from Evander High School. She married the love of her life, John C. Romano (a contractor and operator of Roman Pool Co. in Suffern) on October 14, 1956. They moved to Suffern into the home John built in 1965 where they raised two children. Yvonne was a devoted homemaker and mother. She loved to cook, eat healthy, exercise, travel and dance. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, two grand children and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Lisa, son-law Lee and grandchildren Levi and Emma of South Carolina, her son Glenn and daughter-in-law, Susan of California and sister, Vivian of North Carolina. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband, John. Memorial donations may be made to Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.
