Mr. Henderson was the father of our favorite neighbor, Tricia.  We frequently ran into him and his wife when we were out of town.  He was selfless in insuring that his wife was having a great time during these trips.  His face glowed when he'd encounter us, always pleasant and welcoming. But even while talking with us his true focus was on making sure his wife was happy.  What a wonderful family man he was!  May memories comfort the family and God's peace be with you.

I first met Manley back in 2001 when I joined EMC. He would come in at all hours of the day and night to perform NDE and keep the repairs rolling, but was always cheerful and professional.  As I got to know him better, I deeply respected his knowledge, experience and love of his craft.  He was a 'maven' in NDE circles and had a great reputation.  He told stories of his past jobs and wide travels and really brought them to life.  Manley was a great gardener and regularly shared whatever was in season; tomatoes, garlic, eggplant or figs.  He was a truly kind and generous man and will be much missed, but never forgotten by me or his many friends at EMC. Our thoughts and prayers are with Vera and the family.

I was fortunate enough to meet Manley a couple of years ago through work.  Manley was 87 years old and trying to cut back his workload.  He trained me, and ultimately gave his blessing to his client that I would do a good job for them.  As I worked with him, he always had a story to tell. Sometimes that related a lesson about the work we both did, sometimes it would just be about fishing, or life in general.  Although I did not get the chance to meet him until a few years ago, I will always remember Manley and the stories he shared with me.  He made a lasting impression on me and I thank God for the time I was able to spend with him.  My love and prayers go out to Vera and the family.
