Born on January 22, 1932, Allene was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was known affectionately as "Grammy" to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Allene had a kind and nurturing spirit, and she loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed feeding the birds and "wildlife" in her backyard, finding joy in the simple pleasures of nature. Her compassionate and loving character extended beyond her family, as she had a soft spot for all those in need of a helping hand.
Allene is survived by her son, Grady, and his wife, Barbara, as well as her grandsons, Christopher (and his wife Roxanne) and Conner. She also leaves behind relatives in Virginia who will cherish her memory. Allene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Mullins, and her sisters Geneva Deskins, Juanita Brown, and Pauline Belcher.
During her life, Allene found solace and community at St. Theresa Catholic Church, where she worshipped.
For those who wish to honor Allene's memory, contributions can be made to an animal shelter of your choice, as she had a deep love and compassion for animals.
The loss of Allene Mullins leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends, but her memory will forever be cherished. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and warmth she shared during her time with us.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.settegastkopf.com for the Mullins family.
