AMELIA VACA JARAMILLO, born April 10, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012, in Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Pedro Jaramillo; parents, Santiago and Anita Sepulveda Vaca; brother, Jimmy Vaca; and sisters, Julia Contreras, Elisa Gonzalez, and Minerva Negron. Amelia is survived by her children, Ernest Jaramillo, Pete Jaramillo, Jr., James Jaramillo and his wife Kathy, and Jeanette Wills and her husband Mike; grandchildren, Mitchell, Cody, and Hailey; brothers, Joe Vira and Oscar Vaca; and sisters, Otilia Salinas and Anita Sabedra. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478 (Williams Trace Exit). Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 16, 2012, in the Morrow Chapel of The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek. Interment will follow at 9:00 AM, Friday, August 17, 2012, at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
