Barbara accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Palo Alto, CA where she was a member of the choir. In her youth Barbara was a great athlete and really enjoyed baseball. Barbara also enjoyed reading novels.
Barbara had a huge heart for her children and family and was a remarkable wife.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Sylvester Bass and her only daughter, Pamela Bass Hendricks.
Barbara leaves to cherish her loving memories, two sons, Richard (Jodee) Bass and Kevin (Elaine) Bass, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
