BEATRICE RAY, 81, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Born in Rockford, Illinois to Bertes and Hildeborg Grenberg, she was a beloved wife, mother and friend to many. Beatrice, known affectionately as “B. Ann” never met a stranger. Her sense of humor, quick wit and contagious laugh will be missed greatly.
After graduating from Rockford College and teaching elementary school, B. Ann married the love of her life and moved to Houston where they spent many happy years together as husband and wife.
Her husband, Ronald S. Ray, preceded her in death. B. Ann’s daughters, Lisa Ferguson and Diana Peterson and four grandchildren survive her. A private memorial service was held for family and friends to celebrate her life. She will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery.
