Caroline Bowman

She was born December 27, 1919, in Inwood, Michigan.

Carol was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Edward; and brothers, Colonel Lund, Clifford Lund, and Gordon Lund.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Bowman; son, Clyde Bowman; grandchildren, Mikal Bowman, Kurt Bowman, and Courtney Bowman; sisters, Lucille Austin and Lillian Williams; and many loving friends.

After a long and successful career as a bookkepper, Carol devoted many hours in her community as a volunteer.

She was President of the Elmhurst ( Illinois) Memorial Hospital Guild, and was a member of the Lioness and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW.

Carol was also an active member of Peace United Church of Christ in Bensenville, Illinois.

A Memorial Service celebrating Carol's life will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 27, 2010, at Faith Community United Church of Christ, 192 South Center St., Bensenville, Illinois. Inurnment will follow at Mount Emblem Cemetery, in Elmhurst, Illinois.
