God looked around his garden and found an empty place, He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face, He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest, with the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place beside our beloved mother. God's garden must be beautiful, he always take the best. It brakes our hearts to loose you but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

I will miss you so much my Chantal, till the day we meet again.

Dear John, Sebastien and Gabriel, I am praying for you all in these difficult times, my heart is filled with sorrow.

When Chantal Claire Salchli walked into the room, those in her company felt energy, an enthusiastic spontaneity. This was just one example of who Chantal was and how she impacted those around her. Chantal was a clever and gregarious person who always sought out the finest attributes in other people. It was as if Chantal wanted to share all of their experiences, revel in their lives and celebrate their discoveries. Chantal was tireless and had boundless enthusiasm.

She was the daughter of Gilles and Jacqueline. Chantal was raised in Brampton, Ontario. Always at the ready with a good joke, she grew up to be quite a humorous person. While some who knew Chantal might describe her as a romantic idealist, her friends and family understood well that Chantal was always in pursuit of life’s endless possibilities and opportunities available to her.

Chantal was raised with two older sisters, Roxanne and Rachel. Chantal was very accepting and supportive of her family, and would always aim at keeping communications open between the family members. These traits served Chantal well in her adult life and, along with her wit, outgoing personality, and understanding of others, drew the admiration of many who knew her.

As a young girl, Chantal was able to empathize and identify with a vast array of people and personality types. This quality drew her into a diverse group of friends and acquaintances. Chantal was intelligent and had little trouble getting along with her peers. She was almost always the first to jump in when it came to playing games or participating in other childhood activities. Chantal had the ability to find amusement with almost any activity she and the many childhood friends she shared might discover.

With a talent for making acquaintances easily which in turn brought her an endless stream of friends, Chantal was very sociable and could blend without effort into any social group. Assertive and outgoing, Chantal was easy to know and demonstrated a deep concern for others. She always seemed aware of what was going on with people around her and throughout her life she made many, many friends.

Chantal was a natural and creative parent who was willing to provide her family with all sorts of new and interesting experiences. For Chantal, taking care of her husband and parenting were particularly enjoyable and pleasurable parts of her life. Every activity, from chores to bedtime routines, became a game in the Salchli home. Chantal's skill at understanding her children's and husband's feelings, her sensitivity to their needs, enabled her to find novel solutions to any problem or situation that might crop up. Chantal was blessed with two sons, Sebastien and Gabriel.

There was always a certain style and inventiveness to Chantal. She was a dynamic, self-expressive person who was forever looking to celebrate the endless possibilities life had to offer. She had a knack for being clever, creative and witty, and for others, was a joy to be around. While she was often fiercely independent, it seemed as if many others looked to Chantal Salchli for inspiration, leadership, wisdom and even courage. Chantal was always more than willing to share life’s experiences with her loved ones.

Chantal Salchli passed away at the young age of 41 on March 9, 2018 in Houston, Texas. Chantal left us unexpectedly. She is survived by her husband John, sons Sebastien and Gabriel, Father, Gilles and sisters Roxanne and Rachel. Services were held at River Pointe Church.

The world lost an incredible soul but heaven gain an even better angel. She will always be missed, remembered and honored by her family and the so many friends she made along the way.
