Cheng-Chang "C.C." Shen
December 10, 1949 – January 23, 2023

Cheng-Chang “C.C.” Shen, 73, went to his eternal home with the Lord on January 23, 2023, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and Christian.
C.C. was born in Taipei, Taiwan to Ting-Chu Shen and Kwai-Chen Shen. He served in the Taiwan military for two years, completed his undergraduate degree at the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan and his master’s degree at Texas Tech University. Upon graduation, he and his loving wife of 48 years, Hong-Shya, moved to Houston, TX, where he started his career as a chemical engineer. He was a brilliant engineer, working throughout the country as well as overseas. In 2019, he retired after 16 years as an Executive Director at Flour in Sugar Land, TX.
In his free time, he enjoyed sharing his love of travel, photography, guitar, golf and fishing with his family and friends. He spent much time traveling the world and experiencing many cultures with his wife. C.C. was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others and was an integral part of Fort Bend Community Church.
C.C. is survived by his wife, Hong-Shya Shen; his daughter, Pam Huwar and her husband Rob; his son, Albert Shen and his wife Angie; his grandchildren, Abigail and Everett Huwar and Adeline and Ava Shen; his sister, Tzu-Nai Shen; his brothers, Cheng-Kuo Shen and Cheng-Yung Shen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ting-Chu Shen and Kwai-Chen Shen.
