She was born to Dwayne and Janenne Pierce on December 10, 1961 in Oklahoma City. After graduating from high school, she worked several jobs before becoming a Child Support Officer for the Office of the Attorney General. She is survived by her son, Evan, her daughter and future son-in-law, Alexis and Mike, her two cats, Aria and Precious, and her ex-husband, Jeff.
Dawn took great pleasure in cooking and spent many hours in the kitchen making delicious family dinners and holiday meals for those she loved. She was the ultimate host for get-togethers, and an excellent birthday party planner for her kids. She enjoyed movies and television, often watching classic Star Trek episodes on repeat. Music was something she also cherished, especially songs by Simple Minds, The Moody Blues, Sting, and Soul Majestic.
Dawn will be honored at her celebration of life scheduled for 10:00am on December 11, 2021 at The Settegast-Kopf Company @ Sugar Creek. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Citizens for Animal Protection.
