I met Cindy in 1975 in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. We worked in the office of a venetian blind company. The company's parent company was based in Houston, Texas. The executives would come to visit and tell us all about Houston.

When the office and plant closed for vacation in July of 1976, we decided to visit Houston. Needless to say, we fell in love with Houston and moved down three weeks later.

What an adventure traveling across country to our new life in a big city. We had so many adventures in our life in Houston. I cherish them every day of my life and will continue to do so.

Cindy, you will be forever in my heart and without you I wouldn't have experienced such wonderful things in my life.

Vernon and Brian - my heartfelt condolences and I am so deeply sorry I can't attend Cindy's memorial service. I don't need to tell you that Cindy was such a wonderful person and will be missed by many.

I love you Cindy and you will be forever in my heart.

Love,
Mary A.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Cindy in an online NET cancer support group and we became friends, talking on Messenger about all kinds of things, including our mutual illness. Cindy was so intelligent, good-natured, funny and practical—we all loved the conversations she started and her excellent contributions to group discussions. There are many, many people missing Cindy and praying for her soul and for her family to find peace. God bless Cindy, and guide you through the challenging times ahead.
