He graduated from McNeese State in 1992, a milestone that paved the way for him to earn his CPA and PMP. After settling in Texas and marrying his wife, Stephanie, he began a career he truly loved. His career provided opportunities to travel to countries around the world and experience different cultures. Outside of work, he had a deep appreciation for music and enjoyed singing in the choir, reading, and playing both the piano and guitar. He was also a faithful participant in his Tuesday night small group and Wednesday night men's Bible study. While he found great fulfillment in his professional accomplishments, his greatest joy was spending time with his wife, Stephanie, of almost 30 years, their two daughters, extended family, and the close friends who became like family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Richard Smith, and his mother-in-law, Ruth Anne Vidrine.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Smith; his daughters, Briana Grace Smith Rose (Andrew); and Madelyn Claire Smith; his mother, Carolyn Ann Smith; his brother, Jeremy Smith, and sister-in-law, Amy Smith; his nieces, Isabella (Zachary) Davis and Alexandra Smith; and his great-nieces, Eden Davis and Sedona Davis.
