Darlene Ann Masters

She leaves behind her daughter, Jessica Shockley (John), her son Alex Masters (Julie) and grandsons Wyatt Shockley and Bennett Shockley, her sister, Mary Durlacher (Jim), and brothers, Wayne Stroud and Douglas Stroud (Pam).

Darlene, devoted her life to caring for children as a social worker in Columbia, Missouri. After early retirement she moved and cared for her elder brother in Chicago, IL. She made a final move to Texas to be with her children and grandsons.

She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her love of life, her family, friends and all sports will never be forgotten.

Services for Darlene will be January 13, 2026 at 1:00pm CST in Dale Indiana.

A graveside service for immediate family and her siblings families will be immediately after and guests are asked to attend a reception to honor her and remember the woman so many loved.

Flowers can be sent to the church or donate $1 to any charity of your choosing. She always donated just a dollar and to many over her lifetime.
