Darrel Dale Davis

DARREL DALE DAVIS, age 69, of Sugar Land, Texas, went to meet the Lord on Sunday, November 30, 2014. He was born April 9, 1945, in a house on a small farm in Grady County, Oklahoma, to Woodrow and Gertrude Davis. Dale attended Marlow High School where he first met Karen Huey. Dale and Karen fell in love and married in 1966. He attended Oklahoma State University and received a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics. Dale was employed by the United States Department. of Agriculture and eventually served in numerous roles with Halliburton from 1982 to 2011.

As a born again Christian, Dale exemplified Jesus Christ in every aspect of his life. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who will be greatly missed by those who loved him, and by those whose lives he touched

Dale is survived by his wife, Karen Davis; son, Jeff Davis and his wife Heather; daughter, Kimmy Harris and her husband Mark; grandchildren, Landry, Grace, and Samantha Harris; and sister, Cherry Ann Daubenspeck.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2014, in the Hankamer Chapel of Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Drive, Houston, TX 77057.

A Memorial Service will also be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Marlow Baptist Church, 213 N. Broadway, Marlow, OK 73055.
