

Douglas “Doug” George Fay of Damon, TX, claimed the promises of his baptism on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Doug was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on the 21st day of February in 1945 to Zoltan ‘John’ Fay and Angeline ‘Angie’ Virginia (Mann) Fay. He is survived by his devoted wife Lois of 40 years, their Godchild, Rebekah A. Friddell of Austin, TX; sister-in-laws, Phyliss A. Friddell of Sugar Land, TX and Martha A. Loesch of Rosharon, TX; brother-in laws, Peter G. Friddell, Sr. of Sugar Land, TX and Reinhardt H. Loesch, III of Rosharon, TX; along with numerous family members.
Doug graduated from Robert E. Lee High School where he was a member of the ROTC. After graduation, he wanted to serve his country and joined the U.S. Navy. Upon returning home, he attended The University of Houston majoring in Electrical Engineering. In 1969 he joined Telautograph Corp. as Director Services Representative. Later on he had an opportunity of a lifetime to work overseas with Dresser Ind. Upon returning from overseas, he welcomed the opportunity to work at NASA Space Center where he later retired after 27 years of service.
Doug loved riding his Harley Davidson, competing in cross country motorcycle events, camping, hunting, fishing, woodworking and astrology. He also loved spending time in his workshop and his vegetable garden. Doug will be deeply missed.
