EARL F. BAILEY, formerly of Sugar Land, TX, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, in the presence of his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was born on April 7, 1926, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Elsworth and Maxine Perry Bailey. Earl proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp, during WWII. He worked for Shell Oil for thirty-eight years. After his retirement, Earl spent twelve years volunteering at the Alzheimer’s Association and Executive Service Corp. He was also active in sports and played softball and bowled until he was 82. Earl was a wonderful father, husband, and friend; he will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Barkley. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; children, Pam, Nancy, and Frank; siblings, Jack Bailey and Arlene Beason; and his grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 10, 2014, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations in Earl’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, at www.alz.org, or to the charity of your choice.
