

Edwin was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator with tours in Korea and Vietnam. He was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Edwin was a Risk Manager for Quintana Petroleum before retiring after thirty-four years of service. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church since 1955, where he had many leadership roles there including serving on the Administrative Board and multiple committees. He also taught Bible study and the Candlelighters Sunday School class. Edwin’s interests and hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening, golf, and reading. He was an avid sports fan.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, William Andrew and Dora Dixie Gore Beauchamp; and brother, Perry Dwight Beauchamp.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Helen Thurston Beauchamp; daughters, Stacy Beauchamp Carnahan and her husband Mark, and Stephanie Beauchamp; and grandson, Chase Carnahan.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, May 26, 2011, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 5501 Main St., Houston, TX 77004, with a reception at the church following the service.
