Felice (Phil) Ferzoco

FELICE (PHIL) FERZOCO, age 96, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2012, in Sugar Land. He was born on December 28, 1915, in Corfinio, Italy. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; his first wife, Bianca Di Marzio Ferzoco; and second wife, Rae Mott Ferzoco. Phil leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Joanne Preng (David); his grandchildren, Mark Preng (Heather), Laura Preng Franks (Anthony), Stephen Preng (Gulya), and Michael Preng; great grandchildren, Abigail, Jackson, Matthew and Sophia Preng; as well as all of the members of the Mott family.

A lover of sports, Phil played in the Harris County Senior Softball League until he was 87 and was admitted to the Texas Senior Softball Hall of Fame in 2003. He was also an avid golfer and a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs.

Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 11, 2012, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 12, 2012, at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, with the Rev. Tom Hawxhurst, officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, in Houston.
