Floyd Joseph Stone passed on October 2, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born on October 30, 1948, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Clarabel and Thomas Stone.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Inocencia Stone; three children, Lisa Havelka, Benjamin Stone, Jessica Simmons; grandchildren, Jolene Havelka, Cameron Fitch, Zakary Simmons, Jonas Nadler; great grandchildren, Levi Simmons, Cohen Simmons, Emiline Simmons, and Sonny Fitch.

Floyd served in the United States Army, where he was awarded a National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and 3 Service Stripes.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, October 14, 2026, and Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Morrow Chapel at The Settegast-Kopf Co at Sugar Creek. The Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Morrow Chapel, also at The Settegast-Kopf Co at Sugar Creek. A catered reception will follow the Celebration of Life in the Event Center.
