Francis Marrie

FRANCIS "FRANK" PAUL MARRIE, age 69, of Houston, was called to heaven on Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Frank passed away at Triumph Hospital Southwest in Sugar Land, TX, due to heart complications. He was born April 19, 1941, in Pasadena, TX, to Martin and Nancy Harrel Marrie. Frank spent his entire career in the industrial engineering field with assignments across the globe including the Middle East, Asia, and various jobs across North America. But Frank's passion in life was his walk with God and his calling to help those less fortunate than him. Anyone who knew Frank understood that he always remained grounded to the fact that God was constantly at work in his life, through good times and bad. He is survived by his son, Mike Marrie and his wife Kathy; daughter, Cheryl Helaire; former wife, Margaret Rose Marrie; grandchildren, Ryan and Elise Marrie, and Savannah and Ian Helaire; and his friend and companion, Ione Winard. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Section: 412E, 12800 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77077, 281-497-2330.
