

He was born in Casper, Wyoming on September 22, 1941 to Robert Lowery and Marion Hildebrand. He graduated from Natrona High School in Casper, Wyoming and attended Casper Junior College. Fred was an obedient servant of our Lord, Jesus Christ. He attended church his entire life. He was passionate about golf and loved being on the golf course. His Harley motorcycle was the love of his life and he always kept it shiny. Fred was a wonderful problem solver and everyone valued his solutions to problems. Earlier in his life he liked dirt bike riding in the backcountry, fishing, camping in the mountains, car shows, and car racing events. He served his country in the Air Force Reserves. His professional career was as an Operations Manager for BHP Oil and Gas Company for 35 years. Fred was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Sugar Land, TX, SWCC Golf Club in Sugar Land, and the Kustoms Auto Club of Casper Wyoming.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Robert Lowery and Marion Hildebrand; his step-father, Robert Hildebrand; and a step-son-in-law, Kevin Jones.
Those left to cherish is his memory are his wife; Rhonda Lowery (they were married for 28 years); a daughter, Kristine Flack (Dan): step-daughters, Camie Jones, Lisa Gann, Kimberly Vogelsang-Beal (Jess): a son, Brent Lowery; a sister, Vicki Keimig (Gary) of Dubois, Wyoming; a brother, Pat Hildebrand (Luva) of Palm Coast, Florida; grandchildren, Elissa Beckstead, Garrett Flack, Lauren McIntire (Kimball), Tristen Lowery, Preston Lowery, Carson Lowery; step-grandchildren, Kaley Ingle (Hayden), Carson Jones, John Gann, JJ. Vogelsang, and Fela Beal; great-grandchild, Abi Flack: step-great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Jones and Rylen Ingle; and longtime friends, Don Keeney and Charles Brod. Fred was a loving husband and loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 25th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethany Christian Church 711 E 30th St, Farmington, NM 87401. The funeral service will follow at the church at 11:00 a.m. led by Pastor Jeanette Larson. He will be cremated and laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington, NM.
