

Glynda Julie Cross-Paris, age 65, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2022, due to cancer. She was born on December 6, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late James and Julie Cross. She married her longtime friend and love, Robin Ray Paris, in August of 1989.
Glynda was a devoted mother and wife who deeply loved her family. She was always willing to forego her needs for the wishes of others. She did not have any qualms about helping when called upon by close friends, acquaintances, colleagues at work and her church community.
For more than 40 years Glynda served diligently within the civil engineering community as a resourceful professional. She began her early career path here in Houston, Texas after graduating from the University of Houston in 1980. Glynda relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1987, then on to Los Angeles, California in 1989, and finally returning to Houston, Texas for the past 16 years.
Glynda is survived by her twin brother Glenn Cross, husband Robin Paris, son Jude Paris, nieces Brandi Cross and Ashley Cross, grandnephew Gregory Brown and grandniece Johanna Cross-Wiltz.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Julie Cross, her grandparents Gussie Banks and Oliver Gilbert, her brother Gregory Cross, and her sisters-in law Thelva Brown and Joanne Cross.
Please join us to celebrate the life of Glynda Julie Cross-Paris during a Memorial Mass at 2pm on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church 1510 Fifth Street, Missouri City, Texas. Interment at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077.
